Epic Yellowstone Journey
I want to write an epic post about our trip. I haven’t the time. So bits and snips will have to do.
Pics will go on Flickr - we took more than 2500 photos and videos. The sorting and culling is epic. I’ve gotten through 3 days worth so far.
Our basic itinerary:
July 31: Fly to Denver
Aug 1: Explore Denver
Aug 2: Drive to Lander, WY
Aug 3: Drive to Elephant Head Lodge, just east of Yellowstone East Entrance
Aug 4: Explore Cody
Aug 5: Explore Yellowstone (South Loop)
Aug 6: Explore Yellowstone (North Loop)
Aug 7: Relax (trail ride)
Aug 8: Beartooth Pass Drive
Aug 9: Relax (trail ride)
Aug 10: Drive to Jackson (through Grand Teton)
Aug 11: Explore Jackson (rodeo, too)
Aug 12: Drive back to Denver
Aug 13: Fly home
